The future of EasyAR : from OpenGL to Metal?

I know that the EasyAR requires OpenGL to work.

But Apple recently announced that it will deprecate OpenGL on a future release of iOS and macOS.

So, I'm wondering if EasyAR is migrating to Metal or not (or at least on an internal milestone).

The EasyAR SDK has no immediate plan to support Meta

So the app I just finished won't work on IOS 13  if I don't change EasyAR to some other AR SDK that supports Metal ?

Apple did announce that openGL is now deprecated. They said it will work on IOS 12 but they did not talk about supporting it after that.  It is still unclear when it will be.  You did say no immediate plan, so I guess the plan will come later ?

I think your worry is unnecessary. The spread of any system takes a long time. Do what's right now!

Metal support is on the road map of EasyAR. Details will be announced in the first half of 2019.

Have you got news about easyAR Metal support in Unity ? it would be great in some cases (linear color space for instance), maybe it is already supported by easyAR 3.0.1 ?
