Improve track and stability in image tracking

Hi, I'm trying to make a marker-based application with a few detailed and good images. But the tracking is not stable. I wanted to ask if there are any best practices or tips to improve image tracking.
I also wanted to ask about the size in image tracking? is it in cm, meters etc and how does it affect the process.

Please use the image with rich texture for imagetarget.
