setZoomScale() in CameraDevice.class in the SDK 3.0.1

there was a method setZoomScale() in CameraDevice.class in the old SDK (2.0.1) !! But I couldn't seem to find it in the SDK 3.0.1 . This feature was very helpful but it seems like it was removed from the new sdk. How can I work around this problem
